The Automobile Dealer Education Institute scholarship is a free, NATEF certified, 2-year technician-training program sponsored by the Washington Area New Auto Dealers Association (WANADA) that combines structured classroom, shop and interactive curriculum teaching with full time, paid on-the-job training.

If you want a rewarding career in the auto repair industry and believe you have the drive and skills to succeed, this scholarship is for you!

To apply you need a High School diploma (or GED), a valid drivers license, a clean driving record and most important; a commitment to excel. Once approved, ADEI provides you with:

• A fulltime paying job at a local new car dealership - You will work as assigned by the service manager.
• Tuition for auto technician classes - You will attend automobile technician classes at a local community college one day a week.
• A dealership mentor and industry advisor - We will help you register, provide you with a dealership mentor and meet with you regularly to help you stay on track.
• Books and tools. You will be provided appropriate lesson books and materials. You will be eligible for a $1,000 tool allowance upon successful completions of certain requirements.
